The Thrilling Giants Vs Rockies Game Yesterday
The San Francisco Giants and the Colorado Rockies faced off in an exciting game yesterday at Coors Field. Cueto was able to keep the Rockies hitters off-balance all night and was able to get out of jams when needed. The bullpen did a great job in relief, only giving up one run in three innings of work.
Rockies Pitching
The Rockies pitching was not able to keep the Giants offense in check. Antonio Senzatela got the start and was not able to make it out of the fifth inning. He gave up four runs on seven hits in four and two-thirds innings. The bullpen was also unable to keep the Giants off the board, giving up three runs in four and a third innings.
Key Moment
The key moment of the game came in the top of the seventh inning. The Giants had a one run lead and were looking to add on. With runners on second and third and one out, Buster Posey stepped to the plate. He hit a ground ball to the right side that was just out of the reach of the Rockies infield. This hit scored two runs and gave the Giants a three run lead.
